What version of Windows are you running(or are you running it on another platform)? What video card and what drivers? You may even have something like a sound driver problem causing the issues.

Did you modify the game files in anyway? (translations, walktrhough mods etc)

My screen and video card are up to date. I was going on before 20 o'clock, two currently not working. I've never used the mod. It asks for a 110 file, but it does a 7.95 mb download and still won't start.

That's expected, those files are modified at runtime. You need to provide some more information. What do you mean by "not working"? Can you launch the game? What happens when you try, etc.? As detailed information as possible will get you help faster.

I start the game but the game never starts. It seems to be working but after a few seconds the start button comes back. Thanks for the answers Dr.Pinkcafe. but how do i solve it :/

Did you try to modify it by adding files to the installation folder?
I would try to delete the entire installation folder and re-install the game from Steam without any modifications.
Just re-installing without deleting won't remove any files you might have added.

Maybe it's your antivirus stopping it? I had a similar issue with a different game.

Try turning off your Antivirus just to launch the game and see if it works. If that is the case then you will have to make an exception on your Antivirus settings for the two games. Otherwise you will have to turn it off every time you want to play and remember to turn it back on when done.
