I thought that when you had the fun in the pool with Bella and such that she mentions that if he can do it then so can I or something along those lines, meaning that he cheated on her and perhaps she threw her husband out but then calmed down and wants him back but he's long gone probably with somebody else...

It should be more dramatic, traumatic even, than just a matter of cheating. Maybe they lost a child, and she blamed her husband. In the same way, the locked room in her house would be a child's room, and not just a random place to hide pictures and clothes.

I am thinking there will be a very emotional situation in season 2 about Bella, but she honestly isn't my type, for me right now, Jill is the choice for me, but if they actually make Quinn have this type of story where she falls for the MC and changes her outlook on life because of him, she might replace Jill....but we shall see.

I think that Bella's husband cheated simply because as Dr. PC said, "Bella is a slow burner". She probably didn't do a lot of sex with James and he simply went elsewhere. Sure she's a g'damn goddess, beautiful, voluptuous, but she's comes across a bit aloof and way too serious for her own good. Probably why he did what he did as a result. It's now that Bella feels so comfortable with a dumb drunken idiot (MC, her words) that he's lighting a fire where she maybe thought she had none, or didn't know existed. My theory also is, yes, Bella is quite mature but maybe Trololo's youthful immaturity (he's fun!) is probably the opposites attract feature thats making her open up.

I at first believed that Bella was Josy's mom. The conversation with Josy about her mother finding out her father was cheating on her and left made me think immediately about Bella. The resemblance between the two of them is quite similar. Well except the breast size, but that can vary between child and parent.

Her comment at dinner about her mother living close by further built that belief. When Josy arrives at college there is a scene in the library where the two of them meet. There were no hugs or what would be normal greetings as would be normal between a child and parent. It kind of cooled the idea that they were actually mother and daughter.

I believe the locked room in Bell's house is actually a spare room for her daughter. Josy.

We don't see the whole interaction between the two of them. We walk in mid interaction between the three of them, it could have been prior to when the scene starts.

But then I thought that it might be because Bella has some level of resentment towards her for deciding to stay with her father. (She says in her conversation with the MC she preferred her father). May have been why she is noncommittal towards Josy.

Perhaps it could be a bit more complex. Maybe her husband betrayed her, by cheating for example, which would explain she says that men are the problem. Also, she is protective of Jill because she doesn't want men to hurt her the way she was. She would have kicked him out then and in one scene where she hopes he would return she says she forgave him. This game is for sure one the best out there, light heated but also full of possible scenarios you can analyse in so many ways. I have no knowledge of the plot for season 2, but I hope MC becomes her lover after showing her that not all men are pigs and she deserves to be happy. Of course, that would be in a CHICK path...I can dream, right?

I believe that this soldier was conjured up by the MC due to seeing the image of her husband on those pictures. That soldier is her husband.

I also believe that he may have been killed in action while deployed. I believe she mentions a few times how she wants to move on. This could be evidence that she's still haunted by his ghost. She also keeps a room locked in her house, presumably full of her dead husband's belongings...

Just a theory.

But why would she be hoping for him to come home?

You can probally make some safe assumptions if you played the Acting lesson game. In that one the MC had two ladies and had to eventually make a Sophies choice between them OR, choose another with a Friend who turns out to be psychotic or in some way mentally unstable.......That could easily be the jill bella Relationship here, but I am getting a feeling it is something WAY more sinister/heartbreaking than that.
