Installing patch 1.7

Hey guys, I just bought this game, tried patching to 1.7, gets to 5% then crashes, tried 4 times. in the patch notes it says to install to the pacific storm allies steam directory but doesen't specify wether it's the root folder, bin... etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Once you have 1.7 installed, you need to get 1.7.1 and install that one manually (copy/paste or drag/drop). If you wait for 1.8, you probably won't need 1.7 at all, but I will leave that to the project team.

Haha yeah thanks, I got it to work, the reason the installer kept crashing was cause I was clicking on it to try to move it around, first time ive ever had an .exe crash when clicking on it loll. Thanks though!

I would like to try 1.7 and 1.7.1 but I'm having a bit of a different issue in that the only link I can find for 1.7 only downloads a 93kb broken zip file.

I think it crashes and gets stuck then if you wait a while it goes through

Hey, so I uploaded the psa patch 1.7 and 1.7.1 to my google drive if you add me on steam and send me ur email I can give you access to that file, if you have any easier ways let me know.

Got it sorted out finally. Mediafire page was causing wierd issues with Opera but tried it with IE and it worked.
