Gameplay wise the paid versions are exactly the same. The only difference is on graphical fidelity (like draw distance, post processing). Quest 1 has no bloom effects while Quest 2 and PC have them.

Both oculus and steam versions are updated at the same time with the same content.

@Kuiq, thank you so much for your detailed answer, if at any point the game receives mods, all versions will be mod compatible?, or only the pc version only?

I am asking because I am not sure yet which version to buy, so far this is my pros/cons

quest2 pros: portable, I can play in vacations traveling
quest cons: graphic limitations (@Kuiq confirmed there are not), probably not modding compatible

PC pros: full hardware graphics support, if mods, PC will sure be compatible
PC cons: not portable

please help me filling the gaps to decide better :)

Hi, the game already has modding support. Currently the only place where mods are really shared is the Discord for the game. But the game definitely has support for it, both on the Quest 1/2 and PCVR. As long as you have a PC available to you it's possible to "side load" mods onto the Quest.
