Mods & steam workshop

Love the game. i have been playing it on and off since alpha 0.0.2 and havent tired one bit of it.
some of the more recent alpha versions on itch io have had modding, and i see there is a "mods" folder in the steam beta release too... so i suppose its as easy as before modding it, havent tried yet... but my real question is;
is there any plans for steam workshop support?
it would make a ton of difference, even thought its quite interesting searching the web for others mods and dabbling a bit yourself like the old days.
i really think ancient dungeon could get a quite vibrant modding community :)

Hey, yes workshop support is planned. Currently the modding support is in dire need to better documentation and stuff which I'm going to start working on soon to make modding more accessible. Steam Workshop will come with these improvements too

I'd hazard a guess that multiplayer and the new base content they have been working on has taken the majority of their time. I'm personally super happy they focused on getting multiplayer part of the game. To me it has been worth the wait for more development elsewhere.

Of course it's always best when developers make new content, but mods from the community often sweeten everything a little ^^ I mean, I'm blown away by this VR experience, even though I'm a graphics ♥♥♥♥♥ and would like more visuals than JUST shadows which I think is brilliant ^^
