Fixed the turn bug yet?

I played this game on release and it had a bug where on turn 30 and after at random intervals the game would have crashing issues, i figured it was a "Me" problem but others were having it too, and it seemed to be a specific bug when playing multiplayer

I tried playing it again about half a year ago and noticed the bug was still present, so for those of you who play multiplayer is this bug still around or has it been patched out?

The symptoms are apparently caused by many bugs. Some have apparently been fixed, but not all. People report no/fewer instances, but some people still do get the bug. Good luck.

As I recall, clicking "End turn" fires off a host of processes and several of these could cause the game to get stuck. So there wasn't really one specific bug causing this, but a whole number of them. Most of them seem to have been fixed (years ago btw), but due to the nature of the "bug" I guess there can still be fringe cases where this happens.

Careful with that question. There's an old thirsty lady who posts here (who DOESN'T play the game btw) who gets VERY upset at people who talk about this bug. She will literally e-stalk you until you block her from existence.

Yes, the bug still exists. Sometimes it can be fixed by loading a previous save. Other times it can't. Playing MP games is a gamble. Good luck (with the game and the crazy desperate Karen lady).
