Is there a hall of fame now?
I am actually reluctant to play without a hall of fame to check my previous record and stuff, even though I just grabbed all dlc a few sec ago. Was thinking I should get all before Civ 7, since I think almost all the ideas in Civ 7 are similar to humankind.

I agree with you, hall of fame is necessary to keep track of progress. So I worked my own excel files to record all the games I played, I am saving the main settings for each game, along with the results. I also derived some curves to visualize the progress trend. Even more important, it provides a set of challenges to diversify the games. For instance, I am keeping track of the games with imposed goals like :
- selecting only the new cultures in a given DLC ;
- selecting all cultures with the same affinity across eras ;
- each culture with a different affinity all the way ;
- and, of course, what was the best score in a single era, and what is the best culture selection in a full game.

In total, I recorded 100+ games. I must confess I love very much this game, specially selecting a new culture each era, and more important the battle mechanism is impressive. I feel it is like playing chess, while organisaing the battle, according to the terrain anf the suspected force. Very often, I am weaker on battle start, but given the good choice when placing units, I am winning most of the battles.

I am hoping we will have new cultures and game functions next year.

Hey thanks for sharing, though I would not want to play games with excel.
It sucks that the game still lacks basic feature like a hall of fame

Hey, it would be a nice addition indeed, but unfortunately we do not have it. Not something i can promise.

I'm glad to see you are enjoying the game ^-^
I was looking for it this morning and thought maybe I just don't know where things are. I need to know if I am progressing. So how do I compare games if I can't see rankings? I am trying to get over the things I don't like about the game, it's never going to be perfect. But not knowing how to gauge my progress is now my top peeve.

Yeah, I was fearing that Civ 7 would trump humankind, but Civ7 also sucks
