I've been able to get rid of the bug by uninstalling the game and deleting everything except for the saved games folder in My Documents/Humankind, and then reinstalling fresh. Reloading my save, I've been able to play past the turn it previously showed up on, however I have no idea if it will reappear, so YMMV.
One thing's for damn sure, I'm not buying another Ampliturd product again until they start QAing their work before release.
thanks for your reports. We're already working on a fix. Sadly, I don't have an estimate for when it'll be ready.
In the meantime, I have seen some players claim that saving and relaunching the game will fix it, but I don't know if that always works.
Sometimes it works, what I noticed is that the unit doesn't move so I have to find out which one is bugged and move it to a diagonal on the side to proceed with the next turn. I'll wait for them to fix it because there's no way to play when there are too many units on the map.
I don't know if it's the same bug, but the one that cause extremely long end of turn and sluggish performance in general is not fixed. Note that running on lowest settings doesn't help much, if at all. I used to run on "beautiful" before dlc for reference.
We're working on that as well, but it's more tricky than the "urgent affairs" bug. We'll provide an update as soon as we can, and will possibly make it available as a beta first.
Ok, good luck. Looks like it may be a memory leak.
