Yeah they want you to download your friends' avatars or the ones of devs/influencers if you don't want to play against the presets.
Hence my negative review.
Wait. Other people can play against/with my character? That's oddly satisfying. Like knowing some rando is running around with my pawn in Dragon Dogma.
But if you like that idea, check out Sterallis. You can make lots of custom races (which you can play against single player or use for multiplayer). And they get saved in a simple text file that you can share with friends, which they can just copy and paste into their custom race file, and so you and your friends can swap custom races.
My friends and I get a kick out of that.
I don't play strategy games with people. I have my own pace, and having to put up with someones else's pace just ruins the game for me. Waiting for their turns etc.
This is my primary reason for mainly playing tbs solo.
Edit: Also, how do I add my persona to the list?
But as said, with games like Stellaris, it's great to be able to basically get my friends' races added to my custom race list, and play a game populated with races they (and I) created instead of the pre-made ones.
How do you mean? If you're talking about using your multiplayer avatar for a single player game, you can't.
No, I meant how do I know it's even in the database? That people can see it? I connected my game2together account, but I dunno how it works honestly.
Oh you meant stellaris. I have that, and all the DLC. I play it on occasion, but generally I go to Master of Orion 2 for my space 4x experience. It's a classic that I love.
I love the race editor for Stellaris, it gives you so many options.
But yes, MoO2 is still my favorite space 4x game. Put more hours into it that I can count. lol
