GOT MAC? Look here first.
Look...most of us missed the "delay" announcement on August 3rd. So, yup, if you got a Mac and it's missing an executable file every time to you try and play the game, here's your answer.

Delayed due to MP issues. And no one thought to tell us on the store page, or release it without MP for now.

AMPLITUDE>>> SORT IT OUT

Bumping so more people see this. I just returned the game. Its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that its not made clear that the Mac version does not work. If you google search for news about Mac release date everything says the 17th still.

Is there a way, to get my money back?

If it works some day I could buy it again... but who knows weather and when this will happen.

I've been waiting for this too, but honestly cool, get the game right release for Mac in another few weeks. Thank you for working to support macOS in the first place.

The question I have is what Macs and OSs will be supported? Are we going to have full 64bit support (Catalina, Big Sur, etc.) How about M1? I've been poking around the discussions and don't seem to see a final answer on this.

I got this s+htty game as a present so I can't give it back. Sucks hard. They should mentioned this on the shop page.

Seems to be a few people who've confirmed M1 is fine, as are intel Macs 2.7 or above. I wouldn't want to try it with just the inbuilt Intel graphics though...you'll want the AMD Radeon 560 at least I'd imagine.

This is very, very customer-hostile.

Actually, Steam should update the store page to reflect this. As of now, it's still available to buy for Mac with no mention of it not being released or even having a release date.

just activated game with code and cant play as well lol
This is super shady that they are still selling it on Mac even though its undownloadable and there isn't even a release date. Felt like a scam to buy it and then come here and find out its not available

stuck in the same boat here. i'm ok with waiting a few more days/week, but at least disable the download option for Mac and update the release date!

I'm a mac user. I asked for a refund. This is NOT excusable at all

Yup. No lie, I feel pretty silly for not having scrolled past the fold to see the newspiece; they do need to change the date in the store to say Mac TBA.
This is precisely why I always feel the need to have a PC to wheel out in emergencies.

I was dumb enough to pre-purchase for the beta, only to realize I couldn't run it in on a mac. Now on release day, Steam happily let me "install" the game, only to be told it couldn't find the ".exe". But the store page says it supports Mac. I do have some neat PDF posters and the soundtrack, but that's it. This is a poor user experience, and not a good first impression for my first purchase from Amplitude. So since I'm obviously an idiot, is there an actual release date for non-windows users? (There are actually a lot of us, and we also like to play games)

You can be paid back if you asked for refund. That's what I did, as a Mac user, and i ve just received a notification to mention that it has been validated by Steam. Following this bad experience, i dont think I will buy the game even if it is released some day for Mac os
