Behavioral Pattern Problems of AI
After providing military assistance to other countries, but the other countries abolished the acquired troops.
After providing military aid to a country that is in danger of losing the war, that country chooses to cut back the troops it receives when it has a large domestic population.
Is this a bug?

Yes. I've encountered this problem plenty of times when gifting troops to the a.i after the update that made it a thing came out.

I still don't know why that happens, but I imagine it has to do with the A.I deciding it can't handle the unit upkeep. 'cause later era units grow considerably in expenses. Otherwise, shrug

I also gave a lot of economic aid, both of which the AI accepted, but still, the aided troops would be cut back.
