Game will not allow screen swapping

I decided to get back onto Humankind because it's a relatively fun game and is far more refreshing than Civ 6. However, to my dismay, Humankind will not change monitors.

A little background:
I run two monitors, one in regular 1920x1080, and to its right is a monitor running 1080x1920 (portrait mode)

Humankind seems to only launch on my portrait monitor and I cant seem to find anything in settings to swap the monitors.
