But we didn't get any solid info, during Amplified 2024 stream it was only mentioned that they intend to keep working on HK and it isn't done deal just yet.
With more cultures to fill in gaps they can make a Historical Mode with Earth map, that should quell 90% of the complaints for this game.
Indeed. I cannot disagree on that!
Yeah I reacted on that too.
I feel like one expansion is not enough for this game.
I have been really enjoying it.
Humankind is a mixed bag for me. I enjoyed it far more than Civ VI, but I never fell in love with this game. I guess I don't enjoy 4X with districts, too much puzzling for perfect combos.
I think the aesthetics of the units based on culture and the combat is great imo
I like CIV V, but humankind fixed some issues I have with it
hehe we could stay here all day having that discussion.
I don't love Civ 5. I need to play it modded to deal with it's short comings. I hate the lack of cultural aesthetics in the units. I need mods for that. And the combat is myeh for me.
HumanKind in some ways inspired me. I am no longer interested in playing "that" culture and deal with it for an entire game when I can evolve it as I play. There is something perplexing with that. Althought I do agree with the arguments on absurd cultural shifts that makes no sense when selecting cultures from which the previous culture could never arrive from, though.
Ye I want more! I've been enjoying it a lot as of late.
I find the Mixed reviews misleading.
Oh, they could do it.
Ancient Era: Dorsets - Aesthete
Classical Era: Thules - Expansionist
Medieval Era: Haidas - Merchant
Early Modern Era: Lakotas - Militarist
Industrial Era: Québécois - Builder
Contemporary Era: Canadians - Scientist (maybe?)
To that list you may, also, add the Apaches, the Acadians, the Navajos and the French Canadians as an potential Early Modern Era culture bonus, too.
But, for the French Canadians, they need to be an Agrarian culture, as it represent better what the general mentality was (at least, in Québec) before the Quiet Revolution. Yes, I know what I talk about, as I live there.
Oh, they are misleading.
Badly, few people really understand the cultures mechanism, and the gameplay flexibility it offer.
