一直以來我不介意多買一些我不感興趣的DLC來支持製作組,我也不介意我是否需要以合理的價格購買額外的地圖編輯器,但以目前的狀況,我應該短時間不會想打開遊戲了,除非問題解決。
thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear your maps are incompatible. Do I understand correctly you are referring to maps created with the map editor? I'll try to follow up with our production team about fixing this.
No, I am using the map in the game, the seed code is 1456738099
Thank you for your reply!
Maintaining exactly the same map generation was not a priority for us, but as far as I know we also did not make any changes to the generation process beyond allowing territoriy sizes to be modified. So if you choose the right territory settings, you may get the same results as before.
As far as the designers told me, the previous territory sizes were 40 for land territories and 100 for ocean territories. However, if your saved seeds are very old, you may need to use a land territory size of 45 instead, because one of the patches in 2022 slightly lowered the territory size.
As far as I can tell, the current preset territory size is 35, which would explain why you now get different maps than before.
I hope this will help you get the same maps you are looking for again.
Good morning, The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales, thank you for asking for me!
In my previous attempts, I learned that the previous territory sizes were 40 for land territories this thing, but despite the corresponding adjustments, the location of the resource points will still change, so I hope to import the map information from the archive into the map editor, or use the seed code in the map editor, and then I restore the same map myself.
In order to use the initial map, every time I buy DLC I can only choose to turn off Natural wonders/events/independent peoples, which indirectly affects the game experience, so I hope to use the seed code in the map editor to create maps, so that the community can also have more original maps available, rather than most of the world map or the world map of a particular ip.
If you can't get the map editor to export the seed code, I don't mind using the expansion mod or program to export the map in the archive.
Originally I wanted to say that this time to buy all the dlc, but the current situation I bought no map to play makes me hesitant, but the development team continues to optimize the game this is worth supporting :)
This is a feature for the map editor that's much requested and has been on our list of potential improvements for quite some time, but I'm afraid that right now I can't even guess when or even if it will arrive... Sorry for the bad news.
It seems we have no other way to get the specified map to appear in the map editor
I'm sorry to know this news, but thank you for not hiding it from the development team and for your continuous updates and efforts to solve the problem, I have confidence that you will one day improve the map editor.
Humankind can still maintain the second most hours of games in my steam, I have begun to worry, now I am more worried about the day before the arrival of my enthusiasm first disappeared, ha ha
