grievance during war? wtf is this nonsense?!
The enemy gets grievance worth 5 war support every time I attack them WHILE WE'RE AT WAR?! What kind of a dingleberry logic is that?! And they don't even take war support penalty for losing fights, only for losing units at a rate of 1/unit, which is completely offset by the nonsense bonus... So i'm stuck in a perpetual war? Is this a bug?

Assuming no mods then yes it looks like a bug.

Losing war support for number of units lost rather than just for losing the battle is intentional, so that crushing victories are rewarded more than just scraping by, though as far as I recall it should be 2 points per unit and not 1 point.

Triggering the "attacked me" grievance during war, though, definitely doesn't look right. If you have a save from that turn, could you please share it with us so we can take a closer look? The diagnostics files (in your Humankind/temporary files folder) would also be useful.

No mods, completely vanilla install.

I've played past that point and don't have a save from that turn anymore. The most recent one is from ~9 turns later (i think, all the grievances are at 1 turn remaining) when I managed to finally force a surrender, not sure if there's a point in sending that one?

I found the diagnostic files, where/how do I send them?

side note, I think the armies that triggered the grievances may have been owned by the vassal, because destroying subsequent armies that were definitely owned by the overlord did not trigger new grievances - still unintended, right?
