You can hover on the enemy combat strength to see the bonuses they have.
Quite likely they got +7 strength for 10 turns due event (Ferocity trait). I think this event is a bug itself as +7 is increadibly high value, better than anything else including fortification bonus.
This is a beta patch that's currently only on steam
XGP and the MS Store in general doesn't have a great way for developers to do beta patches. Even MS itself uses an "Insider Hub" app that manages all their own internal beta opt-in projects for XGP and games like AOE4. Even then, AOE4 did most of their beta testing on steam too, where you signed up in the hub but were sent a steam key anyway
Once this patch is out of beta, it should get uploaded to XGP/MS Store
Currently this is only available on Steam
Epic's beta process is more kludgy than Steam's. Basically the only way to get a beta is to functionally give the beta out as a separate 'game' to people. This isn't too bad for games in Early Access stages, where you expect a lot of changes to builds and users can choose to be on either the 'stable' one or the 'new upcoming features beta' one. That model doesn't really make much sense once you're out of Early Access.
As its a separate 'game' as far as Epic concerned, its also difficult to distribute as you then either have to give out keys for it, or give everyone access to the beta version of the game
This ends up being confusing because, it shows up as a separate entry in your library so new users can end up running the beta version of a game instead of the mainline one.
You can click the "50" button at the bottom which then will show 50 threads instead of the default 15. Even if a forum only had 1 sticky, I never use the default 15 thread view
The stickies are functionally necessary. Another user was kind enough to post about this beta patch as well, but their post was buried like 2-3 pages down even in my 50 thread per page view. I mean its great everyone is posting here and giving great feedback. But something like this thread can just disappear into the ether without stickies.
That said we're looking into seeing what we can do to maybe doing some organizational changes on the forums. That might change how many stickes are on a single page.
from my experience in other forums, most people who don't read pins, don't read them in general, it usually doesn't have to do with there being too many. The issue is more about forcing people to read stickies, not about reducing the number of them (though obviously there can be a point where there's too many)
There's definitely a lot of varying opinions on what does or doesn't work with stickies. I think at one point there was a trend of making the steam default forum a 'stickies landing page'. Though that seems to be less common now.
Can't upload my savegame somewhere? Or are you able to access my cloud save?

Note turn pending bugs are not a single issue but multiple problems that exhibits the same symptom
You can upload your saves, player.log and dxdiag to the G2G forums
Endgame is still unplayable...
