What's the difference between difficulty levels?
Does anyone have data or something on how much a certain difficulty buff/debuffs the player and AI?

Wait, from the wiki it kinda looks like that civilization and humankind difficulty doesn't have the +% FIMS, faith, and influence bonus, is this correct?

Is the AI more aggressive in the higher tiers? Ive played three games on default and the AI just rolls over each time.

For the FIMS i'd say yes, as the raw bonus yields for the various jobs equals to a bigger bonus than flat 30%.
Faith and Influence seems iffy.
Might be a bug/oversight.

I dont like how its done in this game. The field fields should be the same and economy. It seems the "harder" level you pick, it simply just hinders your own economy and increases the AI's gains. I don't see where the AI starts more wars, becomes more aggressive or anything. Def. needs a lot of work. How is a game fun when you choose the hardest level and you have muskets while the AI has jets? Thats not a hard game, its just broken.

Currently on turn 85ish, my 7th war is still ongoing >.>

II started 0 of them... I did pick fights though ^^;

Ai will inevitably war you, I tried to go trader in one civilization game and eventually the AIs resource bonus makes the ai personalities feel above you and they get cocky and try to war you just for the sake of it despite any trade you may have.

That's because that's largely dictated by which culture they're currently using. If they end up with a militarist culture they'll be more aggressive, if it's a science culture they'll be more passive. Essentially, it becomes more aggressive in terms of pursuing the victory conditions, but that means it tends to be less aggressive in terms of pursuing the player (unless of course it's required for optimal scoring).

Though I suspect it's more than just the economic bonuses that it affects - I've noticed for example that you can predict how many AI's will actually be in contention for the win by the difficulty level chosen.
So this difficult setting MULTIPLIES with the LEADER experience ?

Because there are leaders to choose with different TRAITS and BUFFS ...
so if I want a war game, I have to choose aggresive Leaders ...

I already have downloaded some leaders from
https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/humankind/personas

For WAR I should DOWNLOAD "CRUEL", "Expert Level" :steamhappy: leaders , shouldn't I ?

For Immersion every player should have a lot of leaders and his King and that Buffs should only count for the cities that leaders are assigned to ...

So I could assissinate one , who is too good ! If I kill a Leader there should be a rebellion ...

That difficulty table in the wiki is from the Lucy Opendev, which was back around February. I would guess they'd have made some changes since then, but it's probably a decent indicator of just how much the AI cheats.

To be honest, I'm most concerned about influence bonuses. It probably makes the AI claim wonders easier and expand faster.

I don't think so. I had friends in particular. Was attacked by an AI with treacherous trait by turn 30. All other wars I started myself.

However, AI has mych more units etc, and it's easier for them to treat you as weak nation.

For example I built 4 man-o-wars and didn't feel good to attack fleets like 15 carracks by them.

That's true, especially for wonders. Didn't have a chance to build one until later eras.

The +30% FIMS is all yields though and is way better than +2 /3 yield per worker.
Production for workers 6 by default +30% puts it on 7.8 just behind Civilisation 8.
Add in basic Infrastructure like say a granary and it becomes 10.4 vs Civilisation 10.
