Zhou, how to gain influence?
I've been trying out some starts with the zhou and whilst you get bonkers science production their style is aesthete, so far the only way I've been able to get much influence is by spamming confucian schools and trying to get liberty for more influence on emblematic districts. Does anyone know any good tricks for ancient era influence generation?

1. have 91-100% stability (each citiy will generate 2 influence)
2. build pottery workshop before anything else
3. did you aim for 3 star in neolithic era? (on average i have 80-120 saved up influnece, by era end)
4. rush for Natural right civic (+5 influence on main plaza)
5. get the appropriate discounts to influence, personally i think attach discount saves more.

Above are all, ancient/neolithic era stuff.. later era the options increases greatly.
also, if the influence above aint enough, you might be growing your empire too quickly.

Basically spam districts.

I figured out the answer! Each population gives +2 influence. Spamming districts makes sense for those that get influence from those districts, but for zhou what they want is farmer districts and to settle near food. This also explains the olmec design, encouraging you to get food with a special farmer district makes influence easy.
