But that's it, anything else is, for now, only end conditions, they force the final summary before end of turn limit.
Then is "sending a Mission to Mars" simply another way to end the game? If so, how do you do this?
You need have done at least two research, and past that you have series of build unlocked successively, but the game allows build them on top of each other without saying anything, except I suspect it creates a bug, and you don't get the final build to Mars only up to moon.
What's sure, is I did it already but in a more recent play I failed find it and I discovered the "good" trick to build them on top of each other.
EDIT:
Or the bug was triggered by researching very very late the missile topic, and start the process without do it, yeah later research starting the process can be researched without the missile tech.
guess you would end it if you sure you won by fame at that point or if you behind then not
i checked the wiki and indeed there is a "red planet" event what i was referring to (default win cond)
however in space race it should just be over, so i guess its probably a bug
and if it is so then other end condition is to reach the last turn which i guess sux :)
or to hope another ai does this and its actually ends the game no idea
though i was wondering why would you take this win condition
and now i guess i get it, it is that you can eliminate all take all and the game doesnt end then you can get all the stars in a run? then gl with those end turn buttons :D, i actually wonder though it should be insta at that stage right?
I have beaten down every AI (playing with 8 on humankind difficulty) down to just 1 territory, researched every single tech, gotten every single era star, was going to use the mars mission to end the game because I'm no where close to polluting the planet, and at turn 169 out of a 450 turns. So when the mars mission didn't work like it was supposed to the only thing I can do now is just resign the game.
i would actually be impressed by those numbers if i wouldnt be aware of a few mechanics that easily exploitable at the moment :)
