When I want to travel to earth it says destination is too far and I can't travel, what do i do?

if its on the second mission i had this problem to, the only thing you can do is start rhe mission again

You have a set amount of time to complete a mission, thats what makes it fun

It tells you that the destination is too far if the amount of time it takes you to get there is more than the amount of time you have left to complete the challenge.
So, if you have 10 hours left in the challenge, and it takes 11 hours to travel to Earth, it won't let you because it's too far.
You can prematurely end the challenge by hitting the Retire button, which I think is in the lower-left.

To elaborate on Doom Cookies advice you finish the mission on the travel screen ESC T
If you have finished the mission requirements there should be a highlighted box that says Retire.
I have always finished moon Madness on earth but you might still be able to finish as long as you have completed the Boris mission and have the 1.5 million
