Small cowsheds have max 4 cows, you would want to keep 2 for breeding while the other 2 go to slaughter house.
This is not viable. Cows would be your worst choice for slaughter. You would need large cowsheds and quite a few to keep it going, they breed very slowly.
I do a mix of goat and poultry and swap manually between the 2. Those breed pretty fast but you still need larger sheds and many.
I've just started and playing campaign, it didn't make that bit clear! thanks!
One more thing, your farms have to be in range of the slaughterhouse.
Click on the slaughter house, assigned workers, change production to cow. tick on the building i want and set the amount of cow for each building. But it doesnt work. the warning still showing "not enough resources". Please help me
When setting the amount of cows, did you set the amount to remain in cow shed or amount to be slaughtered?
The first one "amount of cows to remain" is the right one.
Ex: you have 4 cows in your cow shed, you set amount in slaughterhouse to 2,
2 will go to slaughter and 2 remain in shed.
Do you have enough cow to supply the slaughterhouse?
Is your slaughterhouse processing cow when message appears? warning is for not enough cows to supply in near future.
Are your cow sheds in the slaughterhouse highlighted green? you need to tick them
If you got all this right it could be a bug, save and reload game to see if it makes a difference.
