I've tried fish farming, but the income is rather low after you count all the expense in raising them - cost of crops, machinery, etc. The fish farms look nice, though.

Jon,

The cost of maintaining the equipment eliminates the benefit the profit margin

You have to keep a mechanic on hand, drivers for each tractor, storage space for the goods, and this is JUST TO FEED the fish!

It's actually cheaper to just buy the food in large amounts and selling the fish, it can pay, but not as well as wind farming.

I had a friend [died years ago] who ran a tropical fish farm, selling fish to pet shops nationwide. He didn't try to have fields of crops to produce the fish food, with all the equipment, storage & workers. He made a good living at it and was able to retire.
