renovating barn and campaign mode

I tried to renovate the barn and campaign mode and it doesn't do anything it just takes my money and does nothing

In Campaign mode.. hmmm did you give it a road first? I don't recall you might even need to give it power. Money? seems like money is useless after a while... but if you are 1st play through in campaign mode you have not picked a bank product yet. ( a product that is easy top setup and pays large, usually not part of the goals)

barns do in the campaign in the derelict farm. you need to renovate some.
If it takes your money it should renovate, try deleting it.
