Multiple saves?

Is there a way to have more than one save? I'd like to keep my 'main' world as "the place I treat like a big coloring book" because I put a lot of work into each screen. (It's a huge chunk of my overall playtime hours lol) but I wanted to make a new save to play through the game fully on stream, and I do not think anyone would enjoy me being OCD about the scenes there. I didn't want to lose one save for the sake of the other though...

I guess not, but you can go to C:\Users\(youre username)\AppData\Local\paintdog and copy paste the "save" folder where you want to having it as backup, then starting a new save.

I mean you create two folders somewhere on your computer, "Chicory Save File 01 - Main World" and "Chicory Save File 02 - Second World"

You put the actual save folder in the first, and when you want swap, you put the new save folder in the second. Not the best way but I guess it works.

I know how to make backups like that, I just didn't want to do the work and only having one save in this day and age is weird.

a bit of an easier way is to simply rename the save folder, like "save 1" or whatever, you don't have to move it or anything and the game won't recognize it, letting you create a new one. would be cool to have multiple saves built into the game itself though

I got the same problem, as I just got 100%, but also wanted to start speedrunning the game. I hope they'll add multiple save files.
