Game worth playing in its current state?

Reading about people running into crashes, bugs and etc. are the devs planning to update to fix errors? Is it worth playing now or wait for fixes?

I spent about 35 hours in it and never ran into a crash. There was one minor bug that wasn't game-breaking, and if you somehow get stuck somewhere then there's a quick return to the starting area in the menu. I'd say it's in a good state now and worth playing!

I've spent 100+ hours getting to 100%, and also chilling out coloring the world.
Have never once had any noticable crash or bug.
And this is all while playing via steam's proton emulator on ubuntu linux,
so I'd expect an even smoother experience on windows or mac.

The nintendo switch version did come out recently, and even I have heard of bad bugs on that, so maybe you're thinking about that version instead?

Completely worth it! I ran into a crash that seems to be rare and unique to mac users, but the devs were really nice about troubleshooting it, and I had no other issues outside of that! I was able to continue and finish the game, and I absolutely love it to bits.

Yeah the few bug and crash reports I do see here, the devs do respond to them and help.
