vessel-development doesn't funktion since DLC

After the DLC-Update I can't develop my vessel at the checkpoints.

Hey! We will prioritize this for the next patch. Just a few quick questions:

1. Are you both using newly created saves or previous existing ones?
2. Are using a controller? If so, which one?

Also, could you please upload your save for us? It will help us immensely in figuring out the issue. Especially for anyone that can't level up.

You can access your save files at C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Clover Bite\GRIME\Save Files. Save files have a .gd extension.

If you have a video of the issue that would also be of great help.

Sorry for the issues, we hope to solve the most severe of them over next week.

Sorry, I am not quite certain that I understand you. (Is there a possibility to comunicate in german? - Even than, though, I might not understand enough about computers ... )

As for the controler => I am using a >Gamepad 310 < (Logitech).

"Newly created saves"? => I started a new game after the upgrade yesterday. When the
saving-problem came up, I first tried yet another new start, then I even deinstalled the game and reinstalled new. No change!

A video probably wouldn't tell much. I can enter the surrogate, but I can't spend mass to level up, nor can I use the hunting-points. I can move within the "surrogate-menu", but the "A-button" doesn't do it's work ! (wow, that's perfect english, isn't it?!!)

I found the Save file (actualy 2 of them), but don't know how/where to upload it.

I am having this issue as well. I cannot grow my character anymore. I was stuck on Whispering Mothers, stopped playing for a long time came back to my old save just today and after killing them, i realized i couldn't upgrade any stats even though i had enough mass.

I have also been experiencing this issue. Started a new save file today, cannot upgrade or acquire traits in the grow menu.

I'm glad it was helpful!

Just booted up the game with controller disconnected. I can confirm that using the keyboard alone also does not work and provides the same outcome as in the video.

had the same problem, tabbing out and into the game again seems to resolve the issue. have to do it everytime i start the game though

I've had the same problem. I spent 30 hours 'developing my vessel' There's no way I'm starting over.

New Save. Xbox one Controller.

If I disconnect my controller first, using keyboard and mouse DOES allow growth (leaving it on and connected does NOT).

I tried and it worked in my case too! =>
Enter surrogat, disconect controller and use the mouse to develop the vessel. => re-connect controler and leave surrogat.

Yea this is all tied to changes that were made for console interfering with the PC setup. We are working on this now and hope to have a patch either today or tomorrow fixing this along with a bunch of other stuff!

Since I tried the "disconecting-way" once, the problem doesn't occur anymore with the next surrogat. Everything (so far) seems to work fine now!

update:
.... not quite "fine", as it seems.
The upgrading-problem is resolved indeed, yet there are a few "little" bugs left => like I can't hunt down the Nacre Runner near by the amalgam-boss. Somewhere else I can't pull a tooth which is supposed to block a jar to get an item. ...
