Why doesn't the Shell Lurker trait work like the description says? Is it bugged?
The description says, "Destroying your previous vessel will return ALL lost Ardor." It doesn't do that. It returns a seemingly random amount that is close to what you lost, but not exact. This means that if you die repeatedly, you can end up with 0 Ardor, despite having put 3 points into this trait. It's sometimes so bad that you can die three or four times, and go from 100 to around 60.

I haven't heard this bug before, and we have been trying to test this right now to see if there is anything to fix and it doesn't seem to happen to us. Could you recreate the whole sequence on video? AKA - showing a video of you before you die and the amount of ardor you have, then dying, destroying the vessel and seeing how much you get back?

I'm on my first playthrough, trying to beat Giant of Eyes. Thought this was happening to me, after destroying the vessel I'd get something like 3-5 less ardor.
Then I've noticed that some ardor disappears during the fight, can't tell when exactly, don't have enough time to pay attention.

Huh, I guess I've never played attention before getting the trait. And there aren't even any mobs on the way to the boss :(
