I am offering to test the game, if I were going to be provided with a key.
Being passionate with Metroidvanias and challenging titles, I am patient enough to thoroughly explore every single part and area of the game.
In the past I have tested other titles and cooperated with the developers as I was providing bug reports.
I'd like also to mention that I have one of the strongest iMacs, so there isn't going to be an issue about the specs.
Thanks, I'll check on this and will get back to you if it still applies.
Yes, I have converted the game to beta, but the Download button is not available. Writes "Available on Windows"

Thanks for letting me know, it should be working now. Can you try again?
Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Not available on Mac(

We will go over it again and aim to resolve it by the end of next week. Sorry about that and thank you for still coming through.
Hi. I managed to load the game on mac, but the game crashes after the second splash screen. I run it on macbook air m1. Tried to launch natively and through Rosetta.
I noticed that there is no steam_api in the game files, unlike other games. I don't know if this could be related.
I copied steam_api from another game, and the game was able to start)) But it was launched only through Rosetta, and not natively on ARM.
I'll quote reply to you again when we got an update on the Mac test. Thank you again for sticking around. For what it's worth we'll add all testers to the Community MVP part of the credits. :)
I was able to download the native mac version succeeded. And run it too, but only the x86_64 version of the game, through the Rosseta translator. Although macOS shows that the game is universal, that is, it supports the ARM architecture. I guess it can be because steam_api.bundle, which I copied from another game (not supporting ARM architecture) is written for x86_64.
I noticed a couple of bugs in the game, but nothing critical. I will continue testing today. Thank you))
Ohhh boy, ok so, a long, LONG time later. We had some bugs we fixed with the game and not pushed it out into the Beta branch again. I don't know how much you've played before and if this is still relevant, but either way, thank you thus far. :)
We have only internally tested the first level, which seems to work fine, before handing it off for testing. Other than that it seems like our players don't happen to just have a Mac lying around for testing, unfortunately. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just bought this to play on the 16-inch M1 Max MacBook Pro.
It runs, and at least the parts of the first area I played seemed to work okay. The performance even on the M1 Max though is not great.
At the full default resolution of 4112x2658, there is like a second or two of lag from controller input to anything happening on the screen.
If you bump the resolution down to 2056x1329, it's playable but the frame rate still is not great and definitely not even a consistent 60fps. I wouldn't recommend getting it yet if you have an M1 system.
Activity Monitor shows that it is still running as an Intel binary through Rosetta so that's at least part of the issue.
Is there any confirmation on whether this is supposed to be compiled to be able to run natively on M1 yet?
