Game looks like it's running at a lower frame rate
Are the animations or something running at a lower frame rate or something? The game says it's running at 144 but everything looks like it's running at a much lower frame rate (sort of makes things look a little stutter). It's the same sort of thing I get when I play without gsync on my 144hz monitor and a game runs at 60 fps.

They're working on it. I had to lower my standards because the game is so good I can't wait for the fix, but yeah it sux. Headache inducing for the superior beings we are. /s

Dear Yarden, I officially speak for the other like us to tell you that 1.0.3 did not solve this frame rate issue. I hope the team will be able to look into it rapidly (if it's indeed a unity/camera issue) because your game is a masterpiece and this issue greatly undermines it's appeal. Cheers.

Yeah I'm hoping they fix it because the game looks super cool but I feel kinda sick playing it.

turn vsync on/off and mess with the framerate limiter. they've already fixed part of this, they coded something wrong and are on the case.
I did mess with all of those but it didn't really make any difference. Changing the frame limiter didn't seem to have any impact on the frame rate funnily enough.

Yeah I've just booted it up for the first time and it was the first thing I noticed. I was disappointed but it wont hold it against the game. I'm sure they will patch it soon enough. I'll wait for that moment to happen though because currently it's really jarring for me to play.

I've altered V-Sync and frame limiter. In fact I've altered all the gfx options at least once. Nothing seems to resolve it.

Try changing your desktop refresh rate then and run the game in borderless window mode. Do random crap like that. I don't experience this issue, the game doesn't look as smooth as it should imo but it's not framey like the demo was either.

I think we're getting the same thing then. It's not framey, just really rough when anything is in motion. The devs seem pretty active though so I've got hope it'll be fixed.

It's not "really rough" at all to me. Try doing what I said.
I did do everything you said dude, it doesn't make any difference.
Try everything too.

60/75/120/144hz with or without VRR(Nvidia)activated or vsync on/off(ingame/driver)
Windowed/Borderless/Fullscreen at any resolution possibile.
FPS capped(60/75/120/144)with any fps limiter out there(Rivatuner, Nvidia Driver, SpecialK)

Same problem on the second PC with Samsung Q90T tv(hdmi 2.1 vrr/gsync/freesync)

Framepacing graphics line, frametime and framerate are PERFECT(monitored with rivatuner or SpecialK osd)but the scrolling is clearly broken. Still broken after the last patch.

These framerates artefacts happen whenever the in-game camera is involved, since menuing and other fixed (but animated) parts of the game are flawless. It has nothing to do with monitor fresh rate and anything related !

Exactly. The issue can be seen plain as day in the game trailer on the Steam storefront. When the character is running from left to right you can see the background is not scrolling smoothly. How the devs didn't notice it themselves until people complained is a bit odd.

Hey!

Just to check in, we're aware that the FPS issue didn't get completely solved in 1.03 and it's our main priority moving forward. The hope was it was all one big issue that we could solve with one big fix, but it turns out that we solved an issue for some folks and not for others.

I'll ping the thread when the next fix is live!

Thanks man, I knew you guys would be on it. Can't wait to play the game as you intended it to be played. Looks great :happymeat:
