Snapping Teeth in Feaster's Lair?

So I made it to Feaster's Lair after the events at the World Pillar but there's these purple snapping teeth right at the beginning of the lair. Tried everything and there seems to be no way pass them. I've now re-explored all accessible areas in the game and have not found anything to help me progress. Anybody know what the issue is here?

Jump between the teeth, being careful not to touch teeth. The hitbox on them can be kind of weird sometimes though.

[Swamp Fox]

Get extremely close to them and then jump through, you won't get hit once. This isn't really apparent based on their model.

That is the one. You cant get through two without a special ability though.
Yeh teeth get you heaps.. just run and jump as close as you can. They trigger when you touch any part of them

That's a very bad gameplay element. I thought you had to take midair jump to pass trough them. Was stuck because of this. Good thing I got a map online that allowed me to understand that this was the only way in. Due to that I searched online, found this post and discovered that you were able to pass !

Dude!!!! I did the same exact thing, I took that ladder going all the way up that reconnected the 2 zones thinking that's where I had to go with the new ability. I searched everywhere for hours and finally saw a YT video the guy just jumped right through it which is what I did but got eaten the first time.....

for anyone having troubles: change your weapon! it seems that bigger weapons increase your hitbox. I use the bellow maul and I simply can't get past those teeth but when I switch to a lantern weapon I get through 90% of the time edit: it seems like only the teeth at the main entrance have a hitbox issue with bigger weapons.

this part is so frustrating as I spent half a day clearing areas that weren't meant to be done yet since I thought I had to get another ability to get through (like air dash) just to give up in frustration and look up a solution online (finding this thread)
