Quite Overhyped.
I thought I'd be playing something genuinely in the ballpark of other games overwhelmingly positive on steam. I finished it and refunded it feeling empty. It's basically not that fun or visceral at all. The music is tweeny and the story is no story included. I'll stick to Rez, Space Channel 5, Parappa, Um Jammer, Mad Maestro, DJ Max, DDR and basically any other music based game that this. People need negative reviews otherwise everyone will be buying this and thinking it's GOTY or something.

Fair enough.

It's a shame you didn't experience what many, many others did. I think it's a masterpiece but taste is subjective and that's okay.

well I have just finished it, and it is very cringe with horrible voice acting. however there are a lot of memorable and great parts in it, and i must say i actually really liked it.

This is either satire, or you're being ridiculous.

Not satire, I'm a bemani fan and this is nowhere near any other overwhelmingly positive average game on steam.

I agree. Just asked for refund after 15 minutes playing. This game is NOT fun. You just move randomly hoping to catch as many hearts as you can, because you can't actually SEE them in time. And that's all. Aesthetically gorgeous but boring and repetitive. Don't buy this.

I disagree with you.

What truly do you expect by making this thread, anyway? You talk like you're doing a public service announcement, however, if the game does have an overwhelmingly positive reception on the platform, it means you're the exception rather than the rule.

Why do you speak like you're correct when, even statistically speaking, it's much more probable you're not? Isn't there a chance you might be, just... y'know, wrong?

Just my opinion. I was posting my reaction seeing as I bought the game purely off the reviews.

This game isn't for everyone. It's an experience, and like any experience not everyone will have the same reaction. To me, I didn't treat it as a game, but as a journey and so I was able to really enjoy it for what it was, or at least what I believe what it was. I'm sorry that you couldn't enjoy it as many others, but that's where taste comes in.

May you find that game that gives you a similar sense of peace and enjoyment as many others have with this game.

Thanks, I think what you got and so many get from this game I personally got from Gitarooman which is similar but different. You might like it.
