Corsican Veal with Olives - Lonzu Bug
There is a bug in the Bistronomic (level 2) upgraded version of Corsican Veal with Olives. The recipe says to slice the Lonzu thick. However, doing so results in a B quality ingredient and indicates that the thickness is wrong.

I searched the Chef Life discord and 2 other users have encountered the same issue, one from this year and one from 2023. I do hope the devs will do something about this bug, as it prevents the meal from ever achieving A+ quality.

As of 06/04/24 this is still an issue. When you use the meat slicer, it registers the correct thickness. When you then slice it further using the chopping board, it still registers the correct thickness. However, when you proceed to cook it to create "Lonzu sautéed with onions and garlic", the result is a B quality ingredient that shows it failed the thickness check.

I also encountered this exact issue today. 6/15. Can Confirm.

Unlikely this will be fixed at this time. That particular recipe is super bugged. Even with max level sous chef and an endgame savefile I asked my team to prep the recipe up to stage 3 (A+ ingredients regardless of sous chef chosen). And yet when I plate it I still get a Technical score of A, for some reason). Most recipes in the game suffer from bugs as well in regards to grading. Entire DLCs have bugged recipes too. I am still in the active process of finding the ones that are working as intended and the ones that are bugged but from what I can tell you a lot of recipes in the game are bugged (with the Technical Execution grades messed up).
Mind you I reported I dont know how many bugs I encountered with the game and at the moment none was fixed and no new patch is being announced in the future to fix that.
I also encountered horrible glitches with characters T-posing sometimes (although this ones are rare but they still happened: with both servers and kitchen staff. They still did their jobs but the animations were T-posed and broken basically which was kind of sad and hillarious at the same time).

Try reporting directly to their support email here "support@chef-life.zendesk.com" I don't know if it'll do any good but I've been emailing them all my bugs the past couple of days

Do they actually reply to reports there?

I did get an email back for the Summer Soup bug stating "The issue appears to have been reported previously but if it's still happening then it'll likely need to be investigated again. It'll be addressed in the coming patches!"

I replied back about the Lonzu slice bug and they replied again and gave me a ticket number saying they were investigating both bugs. I hope they really are!

Maybe if enough of us report the bugs directly it'll actually get some traction

Hopefully a patch is announced once they actively investigate more bugs with other recipes too.

Still happening, just tested it.

No new patch was announced so other bugs that were reported before are still present there, sadly 😟

Yeah, I still put a ton of time into this game, but there are certain recipes I don't cook just because of the bugs. My hopes for a new patch are pretty much nil at this point

Yes, it’s not just cooking but rather placing those recipes on the menu. Because that’s what affects costumer satisfaction in the end. It’s fine if you cook a bugged dish on your own (well, not really but you know what I mean). It becomes problematic when you asd them to your menu and do a service with these dishes there 😞
Oct 13, this problem still exists when I upgrade the recipe to gastronomic level and practice on it.😭

Can't see when they released patch update for the last time, I do hope they are creating new DLCs and maybe look into fixing existing bugs at the same time.😃

I think the last update was the Tokyo Delight DLC 🤔
