Has anyone ever got an A+ Cacio e Pepe? How?
I'm having some trouble with the Cacio e Pepe recipe. No matter what I try, I can't get the 'lid on the pot' bonus. Is there some trick to this recipe that I'm missing?

I'm not sure, but I don't think there is any positive bonus to putting a lid on the pot, but rather that the quality is going down if you don't put the lid on. In the first place, is there a bonus to cover not only cacioepepe?
I'm certainly getting hit with that penalty. But why? It doesn't seem to make any difference when I cover the pot

I haven't completely figured out how the game works yet, but I suspect that if you follow the process and receive bonuses, your final score will be slightly higher and your income will increase. However, for people who are not interested in interior design, they will be satisfied with just buying a set of cooking utensils and a few character makeup items, so they will eventually have money left over without doing anything.

In addition to the lid, it is designed to give bonuses for seasoning and flipping, but I don't think there is any visible effect even if you put the lid on and change C to B.

there is points you got because back then i dont care at all i just put the lid on all the time but there one time i do like it said i got A+ soup not A. but u need to see which part there 2 part right u need to see like red line above it. for example lid only at first part so u only see like long red line above the part 1 if u dont see red line above at part 2 then take it off if u see both red line for both part 1 and 2 then u need keep the lid on till it finished

Only recently did I realize what the arrows above the bars mean. However, I don't think there will be much effect if the lid is properly closed and the A becomes A+. So I don't have to worry about it.
Perhaps I should rephrase the question

Has anyone ever managed an A+ cacio e pepe?

I'm smashing out those As but can't quite get that perfect A+

Got it, imma give this a try
That worked. Put the water in as soon as you can on the first part and slam that lid down. Take off the lid for the second part and season it then. Ace

I think you can season or put some stuff in with lid closed. It will be counted as closed lid, because right after you put it the lid will be there again.

Took a long time to figure this one out, but to build upon and clarify the above posts for the A+ Cacio e Pepe sauce:

Initial phase (small block)
1. Cheese IN
2. Lid OFF

First cooking phase (Long block)
1. Water IN (right at the start)
2. Lid ON (immediately after water in)

Second cooking phase (2nd long block)
1. Lid OFF
2. Season
3. Leave Lid OFF

Hopefully this helps someone out there save some time.

*As of 18 July, combining A+ sauce with A+ pasta shows a graphical glitch of A grade pasta, but when assembled to serve, it still results in A+.
All you've done is restate what other people have already said. Still, you got it out of your system so good on ya
