Can't serve Picked up Dish?

I'm finding an irritating bug... When you pick up a created dish thats been ordered, you can't serve it. unless there IS a way to serve it that i'm not aware of... it sits in the bar and yyou can place it anywhere for the waiters to grab. i can't hit the bell, etc. ANy help?

To serve a dish that is already completed, ring the bell. The bell can only be rung from the left side of the counter.
