Same issue. Would not allow me to leave the plating portion even though I wanted to use the original plating.
i had the meat, pottatos, shallets. what else do i need. it looks like kethup and mayo in tiny bowls. but no clue how to get kethup and mayo. if thats what i have to do?
One the right side where you select your item, you can use the arrow keys to change how you want your item to look. ie: meat can be sliced, french fries can be bagged, etc. You'll also notice a vertical red/green bar with a "min" line. You have to reach the "minimum" amount of food on the plate to advance, but you can't advance if you out too much (all red bar). Note that your food list will also display a green check mark when you have the right amount on the plate.
To advance, I put down a pile of french fries, then changed the fries to a single fry. I added one by one until I reached the right amount (I believe it was +2 extra fries to the pile) to get the green check mark. I did the same with the shallots: pile then single shallot until it was enough. I sliced the meat, added that, and then added single slices of meat until it was "min" with a green check.
When all of my food items had a green check mark, the "next step" button was lit up and I could advance to the next step!
I have to say that as a tutorial, which is supposed to teach you the basics, this is sadly lacking in instruction! Anyway, hope this helps you if you're stuck.
