Can you still not put baking trays into the fridge for prep?

I haven't played for a while now, and I heard that there's been several updates/fixes.

There are many recipes that imply that you'd be able to put prepped baking trays into the fridge, but I was never able to do it. Has this resolved by any chance? It gives certain baking recipes such a big disadvantage and makes me less willing to include them in the menu, since i'd have to make them from scratch.

Still an issue with many dishes: not sure if the bug is in the description saying the wrong thing or in the mechanics not letting you do something you should be able to, but deep bake trays don't seem to go in the fridge, but the flat trays seem to be ok.

I can't put oven dishes in the fridge. I manage to put the baking tray with the potatoes in the fridge but the baking tray with the croques monsieur on it is impossible...
Why?

Devs wont fix, been an issue since launch but are staying quiet about stuff like that and just releasing dlcs

It's in their interest to fix this problem if they want people to buy their DLC. Personally, until this problem is solved, I will not buy any of their DLC because I want my money's worth!

+1 due to this if you have oven items like lasagne, you have to play on calm mode as you just can't do it on time.

i cant even find the fridge,all i saw was where you grab fish and such for preperation but couldent store anything cooked there

I'm pretty sure the fridge won't work on the first day you start playing the game. If you haven't repositioned the cooking machine in design mode, the refrigerator is by default next to the cookbook on the far left of the kitchen. It is placed facing the warmer in the initial position across the aisle.
