Soo has anyone found the solution?? Orr is it just a bug that needs to be patched?

the basic spaghetti recipe. Just have him prepare the noodles. Don't upgrade past it, I don't know if any other recipes use it.

since the patch, you just need him to do cooked spaghetti. Just find a receipe which use it.

Put the pasta with Italian cheese on the menu and have him do “cooked industrial spaghetti” I just did that one.

You need to upgrade pasta with cheese, then it'll be available as cubed pancetta (she has to slice it before cubing it). What worked for me during this. There's also a handy guide in Steam for chef upgrades which someone wrote under the 'Guides' tab.

You could be experiencing a bug, it took me a couple of services to get the upgrade. You can check how far away the upgrade is in the recipe book, there should be a bar called XP and when it's full you can upgrade.
