Why cant I keep a tray on the warmer?
When you make croque-monsieur with bechamel, you end up with a tray of 6 pieces.
First off, there's a bug that doesn't let me store the tray in the fridge despite the recipe book specifying that I can store it in the fridge.
So I make it during service from the start but after I cook the tray in the oven I can't place it on a warmer so I have to take out all 6 pieces and waste 6 places on the warmer. Same thing with the cooked chips in the same recipe, I have the tray of cooked chips and I can't put the tray on a warmer, I have to take out all 4 portions and waste other 4 warmer spots. The recipe results with a total of 10 hot portions with no space to keep them all warm.

Indeed, same for most oven stuff, so we need to cook them during service, not really ideal.

but even if you cook it during service you can't keep them warm

That is WHY you shoulkd expand your kithchen space and buy more warmers...
Buy more fridges when you are at it anyway...

Hello,

A dish can be stored or reheated on the warmer.

A dish (ready to serve) cannot be prepared during the day and kept for the evening service.

Elements of the dishes can be prepared during the day and kept for the service in a pot on the warmer.

Thx for the patch. Well we don't mean pots here but trays like for the gratin dauphinois, dorade etc, those don't fit on the warmers nor in fridges.

I already have 3 warmers: max 9 warm dishes. As I said, since you can't put the tray on the warmer, for croque monsieur, if you prepare it during service, you end up with 6 croque monsieur and 4 chips, all are needed to be kept warm, taking up more than the max warmer space allows.

If you rewarm cold dishes you loose points (if I'm not mistaken).

If you don't loose points for rewarming cold dishes then that's the solution: put the warm tray somewhere and then warm the dishes when you can.

This is not ideal though, I think the logical thing to do is to keep a whole tray warm

The tray of uncooked croque-monsieur that the recipe book tells you you can store in the fridge still doesn't go in the fridge though

Yeah, a lot of oven-related stuff are at a disadvantage. Wish I could fridge em.

I also confirm that if you let a dish turn cold you can heat it again but you loose one star in quality, so just leaving the tray sitting somewhere is not a good option

I just made croque monsieur and found I can't store the uncooked tray of it in the fridge like the recipe says we can. Either the instructions need to be edited or we should be allowed to keep the tray in the fridge like it claims we can. I'm standing in game holding this tray and feeling a little frustrated. Time wasted...

Recipes that can be stored in the refrigerator are buggy with various things, not just trays. I can't do pizza peel as well as trays. The bug has already been reported by many people, but it is still not fixed. Perhaps the development team didn't know what a refrigerator was. The development team needs to relearn the functions and roles of refrigerators while working at home appliance mass retailers.
And what I don't understand about this game is that there are things you can put in the tray and things you can't. For some reason, you can store trays of summer soup at level 3 and carpaccio of beef at level 7 in the refrigerator, as well as trays of pizza dough. I don't know what's going on anymore. The development team definitely has to learn new recipes before the chef.

June the 19th, approximately 3 months and a half, we still can't put trays of uncooked dishes in the refrigerator...

No patch has been released yet, so that's probably the case.

agree that the numbers of plates for croque-monsieur and chips trays are not matching what the game allows us to do. It's simple thinking, really.
