Preparing Extras

so i see that one can prepare extras but during prep but im not sure how we serve them or their intended purpose ???

I think it adds to the overall tally at the end of day.

When you have somebody make "Extras", they will be added based on the amount by the end of the day. I was confused at first myself, but when you end your day you will see the cash you made from customers and underneath it you'll find the extras. It stays zero if you don't make any, it will go up by X amount per item prepared.

All it does is add little cake things to the top of the serve area, these extra increase your research point and help level your npc chef up in cooking.
