Refrigerator only top shelf

I am wondering why the refrigerator only lets you use the top shelf, when there are more shelfs available to use. A good restursant is a well prepared restursant. For your grand opening since I don't know how many customers I will have, I don't know how munch food to buy, so I am prep all the food I can and putting in the refrigerator so all I have to do is just cook it, but not all food will fit in the fridge.

once you have set your menu and order in your food stock (when you order it tells you how much of what you need to order for your menu of each food item) once your order is in and you have stocked your fridges and shelves in the kitchen you can actually interact with your menu on the wall and instead of edit it or changing it, it will now display estimated amounts of how many times a dish will be ordered, so the daily item may say 2, so you prep with the idea that you need to serve at least 2

Even in doing that you can have more. My menu estimated 2 of an order and I had 5 or more. But I was wondering the same, if our kitchen refrigerators show two shelves why are we only allowed to use one shelf of space. I feel like there are a lot of little things like this that need to be addressed to better improve the game.

In like Pizza Hut the thin crust pizza dough took a day to rise, I had to remind my boss everyday to start the machine before she went home or there would be no thin crust pizza for the day. Edit the inventory system for the refrigerator in the kitchen needs to be reworked to it counts for the second shelf that is just extra space.

Honestly, I too wondered, in fact I had to put three fridges... Then I don't understand why soul chefs don't take the prepared dishes from the fridge and do it all over again.. I understand that it's complicated at a programming level but it would be more realistic

This is one of my biggest frustrations with the game. I got two shelves in the fridge, and can see them, but can only use one. I have knees. I can kneel down to get stuff out. My (mini) fridge was always underneath my cooking station, and even that one had two shelves!

It would be fine if the bottom shelf was used for pans and trays that you don't have to see the food.

Why am i seeing people with big prep Fridges and i have single shelf one that is pointless?

Can someone tell me how to get the bigger fridges? I'm at the end game almost and still can't figure it out. Please and thank you

That's fine. So, to get straight to the point, there is no "bigger refrigerator." The size of the refrigerators in this game is fixed.
