Perfect steak and shallots

How do you create the perfect steak and shallots to get to the next part. What are the best spice combination and how is the steak cooked. Rare, Medium or well done?

As long as the steak is cooked following the exact recipe, it should be all good. Don't forget to add salt & pepper (use your Chef senses) and the shallots at the correct time (second step of cooking the steak). Do not preheat the pan.

I've followed all steps, which resulted in ending with either 2 or 3 stars on each attempt. It still won't allow moving on to fries and finishing the dish. It acts as if it's a bug or the threshold requirements are too precise. I've attempted to pass this 15 times now with the same result.

I think you need to also cook based on the customer preference. Like if they want rare, medium rare or well done. You need to let the steak to cook longer after it's complete to get the bar for it come out. Once its within the bar of 1, 2 or 3 wiggly lines (that the customer request), grab it and you should be able to get a perfect.

I'm still in the "tutorial" 3 days before opening. There are no customers nor preference to the meat's temperature. I've tried it on 2 PCs to test it.

I was on this part of the game for at least an hour before I figured out that the game just wants you to do it 3 times. I mentioned the wording of the quest being a problem. I didn't change anything that I did in making the steak but after the third time, I was able to move past that recipe. Hope this helps. (I mentioned the devs should change the language from you didn't do it right to just make it 3x)

How do you know what the costumer is after, I get how to cook the steak differently I just don't get how to tell what the costumer wants
