Secret Recipe Bug! [SPOILERS!}

So, I've been playing this game trying to get the best ending possible, and I noticed a small bug. When Colonel Sanders tells you his "secret"ingredient, later on you have the option to tell your Best friend a Fake Reply. "eye wart' or something. I picked this, and later got to his place. when I refused to tell him my secret ingredient he tells me it wasn't a real ingredient, but even though I didn't tell her the fake ingredient he still says I told her. Is this a bug!!? or what am I doing wrong

got that same thing to, i reset the game with the book trying to get the best ending so i think that may be connected
