And get multiple teams of scavenger to not miss any location because Onbu is too fast.
Still, you should have enough knowledge for other stuff before that (notably better housing)
If I recall correctly, then the amount of locations which spawn Knowledge is random, even though we tried to balance it in a way which should make sense and allow for normal progression.
It *could* be possible to have a bad run which makes it hard to gather enough knowledge, I think, since I'm not aware of systems which check your knowledge amount and then adjust the chances depending on this.
I'm also don't know if certain biomes spawn more Shrines. I'll ask our game designer when he's back at the office.
Thanks for sharing your experience here!
Cheers,
Markus
Shrines appear less often in desert, and "regular" in jungle/mountain. But it's still random, so it *can* give bad runs in which you have trouble finding Knowledge / Shrines.
At the moment we don't have a system implemented which tracks Knowledge/Shrines/Locations/Events or anything, so we can't make any adjustments while you play.
Cheers,
Markus
4 knowledge in 94 days seems really low though.
Not even complaining about the lack of research options without it, but having to spent it on upgrading Air Wells is a bad joke.
Also, use the trader for knowledge.
Water is easy to get for trade, or bio gas which has a better value.
