They are considering more story but it´s not entirely sure. I hope they will make an ending with a paradise patch my settlers can either to choose to settle on or stay on the Onbu. If you choose the paradise you end the game with a short cutscene stating how you found happiness and thanked Onbu, said your goodbyes ... bla bla bla. On the other hand you can stay on the Onbu, no cutscene ... and the game continues.
Its to build a building after you encounter something (wont spoil), when you have done that building you get a text.
After that its just, how much further you and Onbu want to go together.
As for a story mode, i would 'love' to have many scripted locations, like say the elder tells us "we can either cross into the desert to avoid the spores but our water supplies and what food we have might not last going there, or we could head into the jungle and be at extreme risk to toxicity and spores" and then we pick our story that way.
But atm i'm having a ton of fun just making my own story up as we go... might make a thread telling about it
Gather all the remaining survivor around the world and Finding ancient forbidden knowledge
Found a "Promised Land" for you to drop down extra villages to rebuilt a civilization.
There not much to do in the late game when you research all the technology and you fully built on the Onbu back.
If they ever add in achievements, trying to get each of the 3 endings is a goal.
What are they? I've seen the one with the monument , but the other two are a mystery to me.
Eventually you will get to construct a monument, which then nets you a textbox basically saying you are a successful survivor.
That's it. There is no campaign or anything yet, just free roam where you endlessly wander around and make your village bigger.
There are three different monuments.
