Wanting to play my first Atelier game. Which one to start with?

Seeing some of them are on sale which one do you guys think I should get as my first game for the series ? I would assume Ryza 1 but I am not sure I just want more input. Thanks :)

Get Atelier Ryza then do Atelier Ryza 2 which follows up with the first Atelier, then do Atelier Ryza 3 which is a continuation of both. All of these are together in story, but Atelier Ryza is just its own standalone game, there's plenty of other Atelier games that were WAY before these.

yeah that was my primary question was if Ryza was the way to dive into this series because idk nothing about these and the older ones. But sweet seems like Ryza is what I will buying

Both Ryza 1 and Sophie 1 are good starts. Sophie (and the other games in its subseries) has more depth to its alchemy system but is a bit lacking in story if you care about that.
