No proper mouse and keyboard control or what?

I have spent roughly ½ hour just trying to get into this game and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to play this game with mouse and keyboard.
There is an option to change settings initially before starting the game, but it only shows what console buttons are replaced with certain keys, but since I don't have a controller, I have no idea what those buttons would do in a game!
I feel so stupid even though I am an experienced pc player, but I don't think that I am the only one feeling so confused about this game, any help is much appreciated :)

Thanks a lot for the link, I've printed it out to use as reference, but still I am puzzled why they chose to show controller buttons ingame when you choose to play with mouse and keyboard??
For people like me who are not used to controllers, we have to constantly look up what that controller icon means, I mean if most other games can do this, then why didn't they do this, but oh well, guess it is a Japanese thing

it is just feel like a lazy port, it is about one of the laziest port over keymapping i've ever seen...
