I have a few questions
1)What does quality does exactly? I don't feel like it actually gives any real bonus to the stuff I make.
2)If quality affects something, does it also affect gathering tools? Also do gathering tools even need all the different slots for effects and whatnot?

IIRC, for gear you basically get a stat boost based on the average quality of all your gear. Pretty substantial when all your gear is high quality, but maybe not so noticeable with only one piece.

For usable items, it basically gives bigger numbers, though perhaps not as much as you'd expect. I'm pretty sure going from Fire Damage S to Fire Damage M effect at the same quality on a bomb would probably be worth more than going from 1 to 999 quality but still Fire Damage S. Not that I've tested it, but that's my impression.

2) I believe gathering tools are completely unaffected by quality. I don't think there's even any traits that are useful on them, it's all about getting best effects.

I have another question. I have made a woodcutter axe with add gas effect and a fishing rod with add thread effect, yet I don't get either gas of thread items when I use them. What's going on here?

Those add the respective ingredient types to the tool itself. So you can use the axe in recipes that require "Gas" items, or your fishing rod in recipes that require "Thread" items. Not something I found useful.

Look for effects that say things like Gathering Up or Better Materials. I can't remember exactly because I get these details mixed up with Ryza 2.

That I'm afraid I don't remember. I do remember I had that quest sitting in my quest log for a long time before I could finally complete it.

you need dream mushrooms to make it.

you can find some in the maple delta/ sweet river once you cross the bridge and go right. past the camp fire. a single wyvern blocking the access/jump

you'll need a pair of shoes that let you fly but that will take you to the mushroom garden. there you have a few you shrooms you can pick. or you can use your world creator to collect some.

Just made a world with the dream mushrooms only level 14 if that matters (use code G94I) use i not 1

and here's another with level 31 bottle Golden Beehive tower

no, the travel bottles, G94I is the code to world i created that had dream mushrooms. you should be able to collect the dream mushrooms using this code or the other one i had mentioned
under synthesis>use recipe

I didn't see any code input command part
Cannon Fodder May 16, 2021 @ 9:22am
first of all, do you have a travel bottle?
if no, go to cathedral garden head towards the center and a cut scene should play out
if yes go to the table that says check next to the cauldron
you should have the travel bottle sun
select synthesis
then select use recipe
thats where you input the code( or should anyway)
