how do you get wind cores besides the ones in the chest.

the reason why i ask is i dont wanna use it yet and i have the mirage loupe fully upgraded but it doesnt seem to give more material drops but better quality drops. i was thinking i was gonna go out and hit a rock with the bomb hammer and get one but sadly thats not the case.

You either fight the Wind Elemental optional boss or you can grow them with Mystic Seeds.
I believe the Puni can potentially bring them back, too.

so if i wanted to grow some with mystic seed how do i do it. is it random on what you get.also is the wind boss your reffering to the woman in the chair inside the tower that has 15000 hp because she killed me because my gear is too weak.

Seeds are random what you get, all you can really do is just try to make the best seed you can. Save before you plant them and reload if you must.

While I do mean a chair woman, I mean the one in the valley, not the one in the tower.

You can farm an optional boss in Leisse land, the battleground area (if I remember correctly), if you're not done with the story yet, it might be out of your reach to kill that thing tho. I managed to kill it after 40 hours of gameplay.
