Does this Atelier have a time limit?
I know some games in the series (probably most) have had time limits story-wise. Gotta complete tasks within a certain number of in-game days and the like. Does Ryza have similar time limits, or is it more like Sophie where you can take your time?

Nope, no time limits, thankfully.

It's good to know there are no time limit. That gives too much freedom to do whatever you want.

OHHH now its a must play.
played the arland trilogy on ps3. but HATED the time limit. for me that ruined it.

What all Altier games besides this one have no time limits,? I have only recently played Sophie but can't remember if it had a time limit.

Of all the atelier games on steam:

Rorona, Totori, Meruru: have challenging time limits that actually becomes the core game mechanic
Nelke: Is a different kind of game but also has a challenging time limit
Ayesha: Has a time limit but not as harsh as the Arland series, you might miss an event for progressing too fast
Escha&Logy: Has a time limit designed too loose, you can sleep half the time and still complete the tasks
Shallie, Lulua, Ryza: Has no time limits whatsoever
Firis: Has a time limit in the first half of the game
Lydie&Suelle: Only has time limit in a specific part of the game which jumpscares players

Sophie: People usually believe it does not have a time limit, but actually, it has the time limit that is the hardest to keep up with in the entire Atelier series: the Expert Cauldron

Man, I wish they just made time limits a difficulty setting, everyone wins that way and it's trivial.

I like the time limits but it would be nice if you can enter an infinite play mode after you finish the story so you can make ultimate items, experiment and do the super bosses without having to keep going through the story and watching all the custcenes again

Atelier Rorona for instance: Every time you finish the game and start NG+ you need to mess around unlocking all the areas and doing banal tasks, oneshotting enemies with your final year equipment, and watching cutscenes for 2 years until you get to the final year and can start actually making progress on your equipment again. Meruru's unskippable cutscene spam made it even worse...
