i mean like 60 bucks for a random jrpg game has become the norm and no one even knows what anime this is....yet they keep pushing this through steam and then devs complain they dont get enough money and go to epic store...

Don't think its an anime. The Atelier series has been around for a while but I've turned my eye away from it because the original impression I got was that its a game about alchemy in the sense that you battle, get materials, create potions or something and continue onwards.

if you think 60 is expensive, you should try looking at the original price they release it in jp. From what i could remember it is usually around the 80USD range upon first release.

Yeah, $60, because it's an AAA game: the first A is Alchemy, the second A is Atelier, the third A is Anime. Each A for $20.

and it's funny everytimes a new Atelier game come out there are always random strange people who have no idea what's the game about or what it's like flush in and trash talk the game. Yes, every freaking times.

Not every anime-themed game is based off an anime,manga, or light novel. Sometimes it happens the other way around such as the "Tales of" series.

Anyways, one of the Atelier games did get an anime adaptation.
